If you are overwhelmed by the amount that you owe, you may be
eligible for United Utilities payment matching scheme which starts by matching
your payments £1 for £1 and increasing to £2 for each £1 you pay if you keep up
with your payments.
If you have a water meter and three or more children under 19
living in the property or someone in the household has a medical condition that
means you use more water, this tariff can cap your annual bill at a lower rate.
If you are receiving Pension Credit and are finding it hard to
keep up the cost of your water bills, you can apply for the Help to Pay scheme
which aims to cap your water bills at an affordable amount based on your income.
If you are really struggling with your finances and paying
back the money you owe, you might qualify for a one-off payment from United
Utilities Trust Fund. This aims to provide long term support by clearing large
amounts of what you owe and helping you start afresh.

easier for either yourself or a family member.
The services offer range from password schemes, so you feel confident when
United Utilities call you, nomination schemes, so that a family member or close
friend can do the talking for you or even large print, braille or talking bills.
